On the 14th September, 2023, WICCI presented start-up tools to twenty five (25) survivors of Human trafficking in Ogun state, Nigeria
The Beneficiaries have received vocational training in barbing, Tailoring , Fabric stoning ,Aluminium work, Brick layering, Pedicure and
manicure, Make up artistry and shoe making.
Some stakeholders at the occasion include:
a. Coordinator, Ogun State Task Force on Human Trafficking,
b. Head of Anti-Human Trafficking, Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Ogun State
c. Ogun State Coordinator of Network Against Child Trafficking, Abuse and Labour (NACTAL)
d. Director, Child Development, Ogun State Ministry of Women Affairs & Social Development
e. Leader, Beninoise Association of Nigeria

The United States through WOMEN, INFANTS AND CHILDREN CARE INITIATIVE (WICCI) has provided a solar powered borehole system for Opeyemi Oke-Odo community at Eleweran, Odeda LGA, Ogun State.
The project was commissioned by the Council Chairman, Alh. Semiu Bola Lawal on the 23rd May, 2019.
